Super Useful Life Advice

I’m turning 31 years old this year. As societies are completely failing to raise children these days, I feel it’s my senpai’s duty to share some wisdom.

The most important thing to understand about life is that you’re going to fuck up. My plan was to become a best-selling fiction writer. I figured that’s my thing, until I spent six years in crushing solitude writing my first book.

And that’s the crux of the matter: By the time you’re old enough to make smart decisions, you’ve already made a lot of mistakes.

You’re going to be a working class grunt. You’re going to have a shitty boss, a mundane job, and an ugly bitch for a girlfriend.

One day, you accidentally knock her up. Now you’re trapped in fatherhood with an ugly bitch, paying a mortgage with your meager salary, just like your father. By the time you’re free from this hell, you’re 50.

You have to make a damned plan. Think ahead what the future version of you wished you were doing right now. You’re going to be that guy soon.

The worst disservice society does to you is implant stupid ideas in your head, that you can be anything. That’s the biggest lie ever. Most people are below average intelligence. You have to adjust your expectations!

You have to figure out what you’re good at, and bad at. Train to become excellent at a skillset you’re naturally good at, and decent at something you’re bad at. Improve on your strengths and weaknesses at the same time.

There’s plenty of free online resources you can use to get your shit together. Go to any forums, watch videos, read a book or two. If you want to be an entrepreneur like me, read this book on effectual entrepreneurship.
