“Journey Into The Source of Light” is a dark fantasy novel I started writing 20 years ago. Inspirations include Fullmetal Alchemist, Lord of the Rings, and the Myth game series. It’s the story of a magic-filled world that has no sun, because it is its own light source. Two brothers are searching for a cure to a mysterious illness afflicting the other, and they scour the world for ancient texts for clues about a healing spell. In their quest, they discover the grim truth about their world. The nights are growing longer and the stars fewer.
