Hello, I am one of two creators of the webcomic “I Am Jaknam”, by DocVS.
“I Am Jaknam” was originally created for my Twisted TG brand, one of a handful of webcomics that was showcased on our Twisted TG Patreon. Originally it was being regularly updated, till the Patreon received a flag (for an unrelated webcomic), but given the NSFW nature of “I Am Jaknam”, it was decided to take down the comic completely)… twistedtg.com
Attempts have been made to transfer “I Am Jaknam” and the other webcomics to a brand new Twisted TG site, but because of my own RL obligations (which have been insurmountable and overwhelming), it has been very slow to do so.
On the backend, yes – we continued to fund pages of the comic, up to the now released Page 22. But then time and funds became limited.
I have seen the multitude of messages/complaints/questions regarding the comic and its delays, and I am in between jobs, so I have the time to write a proper response to everyone’s inquiries:
1) I do want to continue the comic. The comic was devised by myself but primarily by a very good friend of mine (he writes most of the script and details, while I supplement). But I am financing the project.
2) I heard about opening some crowdfunding, and I would love to take part in it. Another option (I just have to find the time to do it) is to move the full comic to my Patreon (and maybe release to Otakusexart here. Again its up in the air).
3) I am not ready to bring the comic back just yet, so for now, Page 22 will be our “to be continued”. I have to spend time to reach out to my friend to write more of the script, and then gather funds to let the artist hired by Otakusexart to resume work again. I am in a transition period, so I hope in the spring of this year, to get back into it.
I do appreciate your continued support and concern for this comic – it was just a pet fetish project that was inspired by another hentai style comic and my friend and I wanted to try to bring it to life. We are happy with your reaction and response – even though there will be a delay, we will do our best to bring “I Am Jaknam” back to its full capacity.
