The Power of Preparedness: Dodging Disaster

Today my work PC went bust. But because my early career in hentai was rife with trouble, I learned to prepare. I had my project files on two separate cloud storages and an external 2TB hard-drive. I also have some files on Discord and Slack. Meanwhile, all passwords are on a physical paper.

I also have a secondary laptop, which I’m now using. It’s laggy and old, but I can maintain communications with clients and freelancers and do less demanding projects while repairing / replacing the main laptop.

Update on worst hentai commission EVER!

When things aren’t working out, and our clients aren’t happy, I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about why. Failure is a great opportunity for deep learning. Read my first post about this failed project.

In this particular case, I do not know exactly why things aren’t working. I could point out to some things he’s doing, like mixed messages and long lulls in communication, but what are we doing wrong on our end?

Epic Propaganda Art: The Skull of Satoshi!

Greenpeace recently made a cool propaganda artwork that lampoons the energy costs of Bitcoin mining. Nevermind that Bitcoin mining can easily be done with environmentally friendly energy sources, plus many cryptocurrency projects have turned to the proof of stake protocol, eliminating mining in transaction processing. Thermal energy is already used for mining, some parts of the world are rich in this. The expansion of mining projects can thus be accomplished without much damage to the environment.

In fact, I invested into one project years ago that aimed at exploiting hydroelectric power in powering their farm. Would’ve been a sweet hustle, but the country they operated in banned mining.

Like most activists, Greenpeace are idiots. But their art is awesome!

Fixing Your Social Anxiety, Let’s Go

Recently had a conversation with a freelancer suffering from anxiety. They were bullied in their youth, which unfortunately leads to often chronic mental health issues long into adult life. Now, as these issues are very common, especially among heavy porn consumers, I wanted to share thoughts on the subject. This should be helpful to most people.
